ZingnZest is a flagship initiative of ACCESS supported by CITI foundation that seeks to empower 200 women from low income households to become micro entrepreneurs in the food processing industry.

From Subsistence to Sustenance

In India, most of the household women are adept in preparing snacks and goodies for household consumption. But their expertise is restricted beyond household limits. Their skills have not been given due regard to extract commercial benefits.

The 35-year-old Nirmala broke down these societal barriers and stepped out of her house to join ZingnZest and contribute to the family income. She shares that ZingnZest has refined her skills and has enhanced her performance. Speaking with confidence, Nirmala has now become greatly aware and knowledgeable.

This change is nothing but a result of pure and good intentions which has built a new enthusiasm among women.
